Formulation expertise in four separate production units.
In Setubal, Portugal, Ascenza has four totally independent production units, dedicated to the production of fungicides and insecticides, herbicides, sulfonylureas, and sulphur. This organisation allows the company to offer a wide and flexible range. Thus, Ascenza can produce a wide range of formulations: dispersible powders (DP), wettable powders (WP), water dispersible granules (WG), emulsifiable concentrates (EC) and soluble concentrates (SL), oily dispersions (OD) and suspension concentrates (SC), emulsions containing essential oils (EO) or suspensions in capsules (CS) and suspo-emulsions (SE).
Eight state-of-the-art Laboratories
The capacity of the laboratories is a key element of Ascenza's strategy, allowing it to stand out by adding value to key molecules. The quality and safety of these facilities make it possible to produce the most demanding formulations on the market. The quality standards are optimal, from the raw materials to the final product, thanks to the quality control laboratory certified with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and accredited with ISO 17025 (Calibration and Testing Laboratories) standards. Ascenza has a total of eight laboratories: physicochemical, residue analysis, microbiology, cell biology, efficacy and residue testing, formulation development, analysis and synthesis and a pilot unit for synthesis.
