The workshop “Growing greener – Exploring sustainable agricultural approaches” took place on the 29th and 30th of November in Fundação Dr. António Cupertino de Miranda (Porto, Portugal).
On November 30th Ascenza participated with a communication from Carla Pereira (Ecotoxicology Specialist from Product Safety Department at ASCENZA) entitled “Crop Protection: A Regulatory Tale" covering the intricate process of registering plant protection products.
This was an excellent opportunity to address a somewhat forgotten topic that is crucial to successfully reaching the market and, as such, create value form scientific knowledge.
ASCENZA also participated on a round table, together with members of industry and academia, where a sustainable and safe use of plant protection products was discussed.
This Workshop was the opportunity to get in touch with the Research that is performed in GreenUPorto in the field of biobased plant protection solutions.
