ASCENZA is once again one of the partners of the EPIS Social Grants program (EPIS - Business Association for Social Inclusion), strengthening our contribution to the social inclusion of young people, and promoting equal access to education and academic merit.

EPIS Social Grants 2022 aims to support, in a continuous and targeted manner, students from underprivileged families. This support makes it possible to assist these students in their academic path (secondary school and university) and reward good practices in Education, for social inclusion and professional and/or occupational insertion.

The 2022 edition represents an increase over the 2021 program, with a total of 163 Social Grants (+10%) and a record investment of 337 thousand euros (+16%).

The program has national coverage and is organized into 7 areas and 15 distinct categories. Following the context of the war in Europe, EPIS has extended this program to young students from refugee or displaced families studying in Portugal. Applications are open until September 23 and all schools, institutions and students studying in Portugal can apply.

Along with ASCENZA, the program has 34 other social investors: ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal, Águas do Vale do Tejo, Avipronto, Banco Montepio, Bial, Boehringer Ingelheim, Brisa, Caima, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Cires, Cofaco Açores, CTT – Correios de Portugal S.A., Deloitte, Fertagus, Fresenius Kabi, Fundação AGEAS – Agir com coração, Fundação Amélia de Mello, Fundação Galp, Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento, Fundação Monjardino, Fundação Santander, Grupo Jerónimo Martins, Grupo Pestana, Omnova, Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, Sogrape, Soroptimist International Clube Lisboa Caravela, Super Bock Group, Tabaqueira, Vhumana e Zurich and three individual donors, Diogo Simões Pereira, Duarte Mineiro and Ernesto Silva Vieira.
