ASCENZA celebrates International Women's Day with a conversation with 6 women from our company
In 1975, the United Nations established March 8 as International Women's Day.
Currently this date is celebrated in more than 100 countries and its main purpose is to remember women's social, political, and economic achievements, regardless of their nationality, ethnic background, language, culture or their financial condition.
ASCENZA employs about 280 women and on this date the opportunity was taken to visit women who, daily, contribute to making a positive difference in the company. Six women, six different realities, six distinguished professions. They are
- Carla Simões - Nurse
- Lisabeta Reisinho - Credit Control Coordinator
- Maria Inês - Manufacturing Team Organiser
- Marta Branco - Environment Coordinator
- Natália Sardinha - Food Coordinator - Factory Area
- Vanessa Gafney - Pesticide Residue Lab Coordinator
